At Syndax, we are committed to the goal of supporting objective, balanced and scientifically rigorous education that furthers improvements in science, medicine, and patient care. We accomplish this goal, in part, by providing grants* for independent medical education (IME) programs. These can include live, online, and/or enduring programs that educate healthcare providers (HCPs), patients, or caregivers. Programs that are funded via Syndax medical education grants must be primarily dedicated, in both effort and time, to medical, health or scientific topics that are objective, balanced, unbiased, and scientifically rigorous. Medical education grants must never be made with the intent to directly or indirectly reward, influence or encourage the recipient to prescribe, purchase, sell or arrange for any Syndax product.
Grants cannot be given to support HCPs, including individual HCPs, private practice groups or similar institutions.
Unsolicited, accredited and non-accredited, IME requests* are accepted throughout the year for review on an ongoing basis. From time to time, Syndax may issue requests for proposals to address general educational needs. Syndax will follow all applicable rules in its support of professional education activities, including all applicable state and federal laws and industry standards or accreditation organizations.
Syndax is currently accepting requests* for programs focused on acute leukemias. In order to submit a request, a reasonably detailed description of the activity for which funding is requested is required. This includes meeting objectives, general subject matter and, as applicable, time, place, faculty qualifications and institutional affiliation(s), anticipated invitees or target audience, and a budget detailing the specific uses for the requested funds.
Grants requests with full documentation should be emailed to Syndax Medical Affairs Sponsorship (MASponsorships@syndax.com)
*Eligibility criteria apply. Not all requests will be funded. Syndax reserves the right to accept or reject any request.
Syndax accepts requests for products and/or financial support to conduct independent research through our Investigator Sponsored Trial (IST) program. ISTs are independently initiated and controlled. IST grants are to be used to further medical or scientific knowledge of Syndax products, therapeutic areas or disease states of interest.
Unsolicited requests for products and/or financial support to conduct investigator sponsored research are reviewed on a recurring basis throughout the year. If you are interested in submitting a research proposal or have questions about investigator sponsored research at Syndax, please direct all inquiries to IST@syndax.com. IST Grant requests that require funding must include a detailed study proposal and an adequately detailed budget and timelines.
